Touring caravans, motorhomes and tents are accommodated in an attractively landscaped woodland site recognised by the Camping and Caravanning Club and (English Tourism Council) Heart of England Tourist Board 3 star ***.

Ideal Base

Plenty of space for children to play - Non-hookup camping glade shown.Whether you want to unwind and get away from it all at the weekend or make us your base for a family walking, fishing or cycling break, everything you need is right here.

We are situated on the edge of Rosliston village, many times winner of the East Midlands in Bloom Competition. Local pubs serving good food are within easy walking distance and the village shop and post office provide any essentials you need.

Children will enjoy the large, open grass play areas which are viewable from the caravan site pitches and abundant wildlife is to be found around the site. The well spaced pitches allow plenty of room for everyone to enjoy so it's always worth booking early for the busier weeks of the year.

Many of our visitors find the Beehive is ideally situated to enjoy visits to Alton Towers, Bass Beer Museum, Historic Lichfield, Drayton Manor Park, Snow Dome, Conkers, Twycross Zoo, Uttoxeter Race Course, Donington Race Circuit, events at nearby Catton Hall and Park and the NEC.

The touring caravans area has 25 pitches with electric mains hook-up, water supply, domestic facilities and access to the toilet and H+C shower/washroom building.

Caravan touring field in woodland settingAt the caravan and camp site office and shop you will find extensive tourist information on the National Forest and Derbyshire Dales to make the most of your stay. Hot and cold drinks are available from vending machines.

The shower/washroom building has hot/cold water supplies and electric shaver/hairdryer power points.

Please Note

Well behaved dogs are welcome as long as they are kept on leads or tie outs at all times. Barbeques are permitted if sensible precautions are taken and they are not placed directly on the grass. No loud music please.

For visitor safety, a site speed limit of 5mph is imposed on vehicles at all times.

  • Non-refundable/transferable booking fee £14 / pitch per night.
  • Bank Holidays - min 3 nights at £17 per night in advance (basic pitch)
  • Fees payable 10 working days from date of booking
  • Pitches avail 12.00-18.00 Mon-Thurs and Sat-Sun, Fri 12.00-20.00
  • Late arrivals - please park in car park until morning
  • Vacate pitches by 10.30 Mon - Sat & 16.00 Sun & Bank Holiday Mon
  • Visitors to residents - report to reception on arrival
  • Visitors - allowed on site between 09.30 - 20.00
  • Visitors' vehicles - must be parked in main car park
  • No refunds

 


Club Rallies

Convenient and scenic club rally venue - rally field shown.The Beehive makes an ideal venue for your club rally. With easy links to the motorway network and so centrally located in the country, we combine convenient location with scenic woodland beauty.

The rally field can hold more than 100 caravans and motorhomes and function room hire can be arranged. The lakes are close by, making this the ideal venue for weekend fishing competitions and classic car events.
